We are really looking forward to our 42nd Summer School in Monmouth. The 2026 Summer School will include Daily Musicianship classes, Choir, Conducting and Methodology for everyone.

Afternoon sessions will include Singing Games, Early Years and Primary teaching topics, and Vocal Technique.

This year we are excited to welcome Jess Baker, who will be delivering sessions focused on supporting SEND pupils in musical activities. Anne Wilkins will offer a session on Braille music. Iori Haugen will be leading our Community Choir sessions as well as a session focused on Welsh Folk Songs.

We are delighted to welcome back Jeanette Massocchi, who will be delivering our Vocal Technique sessions as well as offering individual singing lessons to General Delegates.

Evening events will include Singing Games for all, lectures, and social events including a ceilidh. There will be a song recital featuring Anne Wilkins. (No one could forget her marvellous TV appearance and amazing duet with Bryn Terfel!)

We are delighted to welcome Guest Tutors Dr. Árpád Tóth (Hungary) and James Cuskelly OAM (Australia)

With members of our experienced UK tutor team Chris Andrews, Emma Ede, Lucinda Geoghegan, Ben Lawrence, and Carole Wileman.

For those with little or no formal training or who are completely new to the Kodály approach to music education, the Introduction to Kodály Certificate (CPD Certified) can be completed during the week.

We are also offering our Early Years 2, Primary 1, Primary 2 and Secondary 1 Certificate Courses. Delegates who wish to complete these levels will be able to do so during the week, following a different timetable to other Delegates, including some compulsory online sessions before the Summer School begins. The pre-course session dates can be found here.
