The first full day is always stuffed with new experiences, brain stretching and community building. For those who have experienced Summer School before, it's settling back into familiar routines and realising just how much our brains have remembered. For those joining for the first time, it is finding new friends who will support your practising and sing canons in corridors!

One highlight of today was the session presented by Ben Lawrence, sharing picture books that can be used in music lessons. Amongst others, he shared an activity to support memory and rhythmic speaking with the book 'Mrs Pirate' by Nick Sharratt.

Conducting classes continued, and the first Musicianship lessons started. Both morning choir and Musical Theatre choir were sounding wonderful- more on these tomorrow!
