After months of preparation and anticipation, Delegates of the 41st International BKA Summer School descended on Harrogate Ladies' College to begin our residential week together. After a welcome and introduction, we immediately began our first sessions.

Delegates took part in their first conducting, vocal technique or singing game sessions. Learning songs and playing together always brings out the inner child- and Ben Lawrence's songs and games for early years certainly did that!

 After a lovely meal, we ended the first day with our first Musical Theatre Choir, led by Allan Hubert-Wright. Singing 'Tell Me It's Not True' from Blood Brothers in 4-part harmony rounded up the first day perfectly.
