Today was the final full day, and the culmination of lessons for our General Course Delegates. Assessments in Conducting, Foundation Course and Musicianship were completed, and preparations were made for the final concert.

On the final evening of our Summer School, we always have a performance from the Choir of the pieces they have learned this week. With only 4 hours to prepare, they worked incredibly hard to be ready. Huge thanks to Árpád Tóth for preparing and conducting the choir this week.

We also celebrated our 40th Summer School this evening, with our Chair, Margaret Oliver, and Chair of Education, Lucinda Geoghegan, cutting the cake. Of course, it wouldn't be a BKA course without spontaneous harmonised singing!

Each year we also invite some Delegates to perform for us, and this year we were enthralled by Nicola Hunt, Danni Brace, Ryan Searle and Dafydd Williams, accompanied by Simon Kent. It was wonderful to listen to their performances, and to be invited to join in with the final piece!
